What can I expect during a typical session?

We are all complex individuals with unique circumstances and so the way your nervous system and body responds to this work will reflect that. You may experience stillness, movement, either voluntary or involuntary, different sensations, urges and emotions rise in the body.
These sensations make clients want to move physically to unwind tension, and emotions can range from laughing, anger, bliss, sadness, crying and so on. All of which is aiding towards a release and valuable opportunity for self-discovery, connection, and integration.

How should I prepare for my session?

Accepted Answer

There are some forms for you to fill out before hand which need to be sent back to me before our session. 
I recommend that you eat lightly as it may feel quite uncomfortable for you to be laying down and moving around on a full stomach. Please avoid drinking caffeine before your session.
And lastly, please come with an open heart and open mind.

Is the session safe for everyone?

For safety purposes, there are a few contraindications for this work which is due to the intense response that people experience when releasing trauma.
Therefore, this is not for..

Currently in first or third trimester of pregnancy
Children under 12 years old
Over 75 years old
Severe PTSD with current symptoms
Severe mental health condition (schizophrenia, psychosis, DID)
Currently taking heavy medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-psychotic).
Traumatic brain injury.
Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries
Epilepsy
History or diagnosis of aneurysms.
Severe Asthma
Any Heart conditions/disease
Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition within the past three years.
